Due to popular demand from multiple affiliates, Ultimatebet and Absolute Poker have decided to make an alternative change to the way bonus dollars are deducted. Retroactive to June 1st, 2009, they will be changing the way they calculate payment to affiliates.
This change is a positive one as it results in a favorable calculation for affiliates and your players. The old way of calculating payments was: Gross Revenue – Processing fees=Revenue Commission was paid on the revenue resulting from the above formula. Bonus dollars were then deducted from that number to reach final Net Payment
EXAMPLE of how we calculated before=
Gross Revenue $10,000 Fees $500 Rev $9,500 25% Commission $2,375 Bonus Dollars $200 NET PMT $2,175 The new way of calculating will be as follows: Gross Revenue – fees – Bonus Dollars x commission=Net payment EXAMPLE of how we will calculate now=
Gross Revenue $10,000 Fees (processing & Chargeback’s) $500 Bonus Dollars $200 Rev $9,300 25% Commission $2,325 NET PMT $2,325 Please note: Starting July 1st, due to this change in payment calculations, they will be making bonus deductions 100%
