It's freaking cold. That's why Absolute Poker and UltimateBet are holding their own November 9 tournament on November 10th at 9pm ET. The Epic 9 is a 9-player online poker tournament featuring Phil Hellmuth, a $50k prize pool AND two leaderboard competitions that will award $2,000 a day leading up to it.
There are 7 different ways to score your seat Seat 1: Top October's Multi-Table Tournament Leaderboard and you'll win your seat in the Epic 9. Seat 2: All new real money players in October that achieve Ultimate Player Status via the RAI$E program will win a spot in a freeroll (Epic Nine FR A) that will award one seat in the Epic 9. Seat 3: All new real money players in October that achieve Ultimate Contender Status via the RAI$E program will win a spot in a freeroll (Epic Nine FR B) that will award one seat in the Epic 9. Seat 4: All new real money players in October that achieve Ultimate Legend or Icon Status via the RAI$E program will win a spot in a freeroll (Epic Nine FR C) that will award one seat in the Epic 9. Seat 5 and Seat 6: Be the top Status Point earner in our Daily Ring Game STATUS Points Race and score a seat in a freeroll (Epic Nine Ring Game FR) for two seats in the Epic 9. Seat 7 and Seat 8: Climb to the top of our Daily SnG Tournament Leaderboard and score a seat in a freeroll (Epic Nine SNG TLB FR) for two seats in the Epic 9. Qualify for an Epic 9 seat beginning October 1st until October 31st. $2,000 a day for our Leaderboard Players Each day, the top three players in both the Points Race leaderboard and the SnG Tournament leaderboard will be reviewed. The players that rank first, second or third, will be handed $500, $300 or $200. With two leaderboard competitions, that's $2,000 a day, just for playing. Bounty on Hellmuth The Epic 9 won't just be playing for cash. The player that knock’s Phil Hellmuth out of the tournament will earn a seat in UltimateBet’s $200k Guaranteed tournament, not to mention mad props for shutting down The Poker Brat.
