Does your website need a facelift?

October 17 2014

When was the last time you thought about updating your website? Maybe a new logo? Maybe a complete redesign? The truth is there is always something that can be improved. But make sure to analyze your data before you start changing things. You don’t want to start fixing something that is not broken. So today we will talk about why is it so important to be constantly on a move, what to change and see how one very famous company does it.

Is it time for something new?

Sometimes, you start thinking about redesigning your website just because you’re a bit bored. Make sure it’s not the reason.
However, if you haven’t done anything with your website for a while, there are a few good reasons why it could be beneficial.

You catch up with current trends, adjust to ever-changing market, returning website visitors surely notice the changes. This is just a handful of reasons.

Think about it.

• If traffic is lower than you would expect, maybe a new landing page could help? A better call to action? A new affiliate program? There are tons of hot deals that, if poker players knew about, they would be throwing themselves to register.

Have you seen our improved 888Poker and Winner Poker affiliate programs, offers at always buzzing Redkings Poker, William Hill and TonyBet?

• If you’re not satisfied with the conversions, a website redesign or a new, eye-catching logo might make a much better first impression that matters a lot. In 3 or 4 seconds your first-time visitor decides whether stay or click the “Back” button.

• Changes don’t have to be external. Possibly, rethinking your affiliate marketing strategy, markets you target will make a ton of difference in revenue you earn every month.

• What about other affiliates? Are you ahead or behind of your competition?

These changes don’t have to be massive. Maybe a new website theme or just a new logo? Maybe a new poker room you promote? Look, sometimes even a new attitude towards your marketing venture might suffice.

All in all, there’s just something magical in being able to tell your audience “hey, look, we have something new here”. They see that you are commitment in bringing to-quality offers and appreciate that.

Let’s take a well-known company, such as PKR Poker. Every year they strive to bring something new and fresh for their customers. They already have a unique VIP program, world’s only 3D graphics with avatars and what not, loyal player base. But at least twice a year you hear them announce some big improvements or changes overall.

Recently, they decided to say arrivederci to the Italian poker market. That’s of course sad news but they know that changes were necessary as regulated Italian market keeps shrinking.

However, they also announced new, 3.0 version of their 3D poker platform. More avatars, chips tricks and much more. PKR says it’s the biggest software upgrade they made in four years. It includes smoother graphics, faster gameplay and even easier to multi-table.
PKR’s Daniel Grant assured that the changes will be appreciated by regulars and recreational players alike.
