On Friday the 15th of April, 2011, an indictment against the founders of online poker's "big three" was unsealed by federal authorities. The founders of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Absolute Poker were indicted on charges of bank fraud, money laundering, and illegal gambling. The allegations centre on poker companies allegedly using fraudulent methods to circumvent federal law and trick U.S. banks into processing payments after the passage of UIGEA. As a result the US market has been turned on its head and affiliates unfortunately have been affected. Effective immediately, www.fulltiltpoker.com, www.absolutepoker.com, www.ub.com and www.pokerstars.com have been seized and will no longer be accepting US traffic. Affiliates affected by this will have already received information on how to redirect their traffic to the rooms EU landing pages so you can continue to earn your commissions.
Luckily, this is not all bad news as a number of rooms are still operating in the US and can be seen below. Lock Poker: CPA $75, Rakeback 35%, Rev Share 40% Carbon Poker: Rakeback 35%, Rev Share 10% Players Only: CPA $125 Sportsbook Poker: CPA $125 Cake Poker: Hybrid CPA $100 + 15% Rev Share Luvin Poker: Rakeback 40%, Rev Share 35% PAW advises all affiliates to start sending all their US traffic to one of the above rooms. Trackers are already available through PAW and if you would like to be considered for CPA deals or have any further questions about this situation, please contact the helpdesk affiliates@pokeraffiliateworld.com We will continue to update our affiliates when more news comes to hand as we are expecting further developments in the coming days.
