Finally its here! ...but no MGR deal ?

hmm...taking a closer look I dont see this as any special deal its the same on pokerstars own affiliate program except that the players are allowed for that monthly freeroll

You're right, you do get the added bonus of monthly $2500 freeroll events. If Stars does launch an MGR program, we will make that available too.

Stars does not want PAW to compete with their internal program (understandably). Instead we will be looking to do some custom promos or events just for the network and players.

Stars is a big enough room, in all honesty they would survive just fine without any affiliate program. Yet I am very thankful they have one and I think they are a terrific addition to the network even at the standard rates.

Regardless many of you are promoting multiple rooms through the network and get one FAT bankwire or payment each month. This is a great addition. Sending (2) players to Stars to earn $150 might be easier than sending (1) player to a smaller room.....if that makes sense.

I'm glad to see that pstars has joined the network, and this is one room I have been eargerly anticipating their addition to PAW.

However I am disappointed that its on the standard rates that pstars offer and I understand that it seems like this has come directly from pstars not wanting anyone offering higher than their standard rates to general affiliates.

I do have a question on this - surely pnews gets paid on these trackers based on total player capacity from both pnews and the PAW trackers, which would put them in the top band and the $300 CPA. So does this mean pnews is being paid $300 or more for the players we send and are then only passing $75 or so back to us?

I understand pnews making a margin from the PAW trackers, but that would be a hell of a margin!

I had thought that with pnews player capacity together with the rest of the PAW networks player capacity then the overall network would be in one of pstars higher bands, if you see what I mean.

Yea right, I wish we got paid $300 on these trackers. These PokerStars trackers are not set up in the normal pokernews account. We negotiated a deal with Edward and Carly strictly for PAW that is entirely separate than the trackers we use for our websites. Surprisingly the margins are quite slim.....but having Pokerstars on the network is a great addition nonetheless.

If we were getting $300 on these trackers, surely we would be passing along the lion share of it to the affiliates. Of course we are on the top tier at pokernews, but PokerStars treats PAW and PNEWS as two separate entities.

Yes, I have the same question. It would be beneficial to specifically promote certain freeroll dates/times.
