The left navigation for paypal could be improved alot. I'm guessing the text on the top "PaypalPoker.Net - Deposit Poker Using Paypal" is for SEO but it looks kinda tacky. I will ask a question of my own, if you changed that text color to blend in with the background would it still give you the benfit of having keywords at the top of the page even though noone can see it?

Thanks for the quick review.

The text on the left is for SEO purposes. The title i have just changed, my designer must have done that.

And in answer to your question, yes it still will. As long as the spiders can read it, and blending makes it look less tacky.

Just so I understand correctly, if I use 1pt text thats stuffed with keywords and thats the same color as the background on the top of the page this will have a positive affect on the serps?.....please say yes! I'm sure alot of people here don't have any text at the top of their pages due to their templates, this would solve my problem in that department.

I'm pretty sure that hiding keywords at the top of a page by changing the font color to the same color as the background is considered as blackhat SEO.

I would limit the keywords at the top. You don't want a google penalty.

Got to say, betfair is probably the worst poker site iv played at for a long time. The standard is pretty weak but so is the software. Its difficult to adjust your betting.

A pure gamblers site. Played a hand at a $1-$2 table. The pot got to $1200. All night i thought i was on $5-$10 tables

Yeah, a little more content and a little work on the navigational bar. The site looks pretty clear and easy to look at

Thanks for the comments people. My designer is sorting out a navigation for the left hand side now.

Not only is it blackhat SEO, it's really ineffective, old-school blackhat SEO that is almost guaranteed to earn you a nice fat search engine penalty.
