"The end result is that it looks like it was created by the book publisher, it's professional, and it literally triples your hit rate."
Great idea. Basically you are branding it to the book. Brilliant.

The only difficulties I see is you say that you "print a professional looking layout to the book in question". Are you saying to design each card for each book? That seems rather time consuming. You would have to go to the bookstore and write the title of every book down and go back and make 50 different cards, put them on laminate, and maybe get a 1 and 25 hit rate.

Also, if you get caught sticking these cards onto the inside part of the book you'll end up having to pay for it, or even worse, pay for all the books that you have an adhesive on thusfar.

I do think it's a great idea, don't get me wrong. Let me know what kind of success you have had.

Better yet ask the owner of the liquor store to display your cards or fliers in the store and give him a nice write up on your site or tell him you'll give him a free Party account funded with $50.

Im in Canada, so the liquor and beer stores are owned by the government. Not sure if that will work

Heres another one I just thought of for people with a bit of a budget. Not sure how effective it would be and dont have the $ to test it out but...

Buy a shat load of poker chips. Have your url hot stamped on the center. Get the word out to anyone and everyone that may want to use them for a tournament. If the tourney is at or through a bar or something, make a deal where you can hang up some promo material in exchnage for free chip rental. Now everyone that plays in the tourney will have been staring at your url all day. Im sure alot of curious people would check the site out.

It's a waste of time to incorporate offshore. It accomplishes nothing from a legal standpoint.
Actually it does. It creates a ton more red tape and time can be a factor when you are defending yourself in a case.

My first post here, interesting, informative site!
I have started to use the PRWeb news releases.

Here is an Idea that i have started to impliment.
I buy 100 1.5x8.5 inch vinyl stickers from this site...
http://www.stickerjunkie.com/

I choose the two line sticker and design it like this...

Wanted: Poker Players Wanted: Poker Players!
mywebsite.com mywebsite.com

That way, i can cut them in half, and i get 200. If anyone happens to know where we can get more for less, let us know!
I have made several orders and the quality is excellent.
( i also pay to have the tag line for stickerjunkie absent)

Anyway, i stick these anywhere i think they may get seen...a couple of my favorite spots are on the distribution racks of weekly magazines like the "New Times","college times", "greenbacks" and at drive throughs of fast food joints. (put them on the glass where you place the order, AND at the pick-up window, use your imagination.
