Default Started receiving weird SPAM today... Help!

Hey guys! I usually get about 3-5 spam emails a day to my broadbandpoker.com account and usually just add them to my block senders list and then to my norton's spam folder, but today I started receiving spam and the email address they sent from was for example . How do they do this? Usually the ones I receive like this have a bunch of crazy letters @broadbandpoker.com.

Anyone else have this happen? Just wondering. I checked my control panel and only my regular email addresses are there, so not sure how they are doing this or if I should be concerned.

Bryan

I have heard of a program that disguise the email address. Kind of like an anchor text, the email address is not real, just a ploy to get you to open the email.

How many emails do you get from paypal saying your account needs to be updated.

Usually you will have a "catch-all" feature for emails that are sent to your domain but have the wrong ****@
You should have a option to either "Bounce" or "Catchall" these type of emails.

If you do? Select "Bounce" & all is well.

I don't know much about e-mail spam blocking....are there programs outside of out your mail client that do it? I'm using Outlook Express and e-mail through my own domain...and lately I've been getting lots of foreign e-mail (just full of random weird characters)...usually 2-3 a day...anyone know of any software I could try out?

I got an email from "paypal" the other day and it seemed legit compared to the other spammy ones I always get. When I clicked on the link I noticed that it took me to a spam website and then quickly redirected to look like something like http://www.paypal.com/updates/etc.. The spam idiots that try to steal your paypal pw are getting smarter so you better watch out.
