Green Tie Poker attempts to enter the market GreenTiePoker.com is attempting to enter the highly competitive market of online poker. Unlike most online poker sites I think Green Tie Poker may actually have a shot at it! One of the newest sites to enter the online poker market is GreenTiePoker.com. Typically I stay away from new sites because in all honesty most are destined to fail. However with Green Tie Poker I actually think they have a chance. I can't explain it but when I first found the site I was intrigued, probably all the hot women. But when I really started looking into it I thought about it as both a player and a marketer.
I had a conversation yesterday with Brett Pomerantz, the affiliate manager at GreenTiePoker.com and I can tell you these guys know what they're doing. They are targeting primarily to one demographic, and it is the most sought after demographic in the online poker market, men between the ages of 18-30.
From a players perspective Green Tie Poker is awesome. First of all it is simply just a skin of Ulitmate Bet, and the staff at Green Tie is not afraid to say it, in fact they are promoting it! This is great because you know there is always going to be action there for each games at every limit. But playing at GreenTiePoker is so much better than Ultimate Bet, here's why:
Finally a poker site that is going to comp players just like the casino's do. Green Tie Poker has contracted with an outside company to provide concierge service for all of its players in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angelas, Miami, New York, and many others. This means if your flying into Vegas and you want to take your girl to Club 54 or Rain without having to wait in line...........just contact Green Tie's concierge service and your in! All this just for being an online poker player. (It's about time considering how much money we make these sites)
In my opionion GreenTiePoker could become the Maxim of the online poker market if they play their cards right. (You read it here at Party Riches first) Their site and community is just sexy enough to get the attention of the demographic they are going after, but classy enough not to seem trashy. Go to the site and surf around, you'll see what I'm talking about. If they truly give their players the VIP treatment like they are talking about, especially their higher limit players, GreenTiePoker.com is going to revolutionize VIP treatment in the online poker market.
Now let's talk about promoting GreenTiePoker.com. It's somewhat of a catch 22. There are a few features that the Green Tie program doesn't have yet. One of these features is a sub-affiliate program that for a promoter like myself is essential. I also wish we could get all the stats on the backend versus emailed reports. Another feature that is not available yet but is in the works is the ability to schedule private tournaments. The the big one that could be a deal breaker for many affiliates is not having a CPA program.
However on the positive side GreenTie does allow you to have multiple bonus codes. You will just need to contact Brett in order to get these set-up. I also think there is a lot of opportunity because Green Tie has had such little exposure in the online poker market thus far. Let's face it, in this world sex sells.............this is just a fact. And with the sexy image of GreenTiePoker as well as the high roller treatment and parties, You will get conversions.
I review new poker sites every day and seldom do I sign up or even play at them. I always just stick to Party or Stars.............but for some reason I found myself drawn to Green Tie. Heck I even deposited and am now playing there. Bottom line is that if your going to try to come into the online poker market right now, you better have a new image or bring something new to the table. GreenTie has done just this. Is Full-Tilt or PokerStars going to hook me up with VIP treatment when I get to Vegas. Am I going to be invited to celebrity parties from other card rooms? The answer is No, and this is something GreenTiePoker.com will do for you. And remember it's no different than playing at Ultimate Bet, except for the table graphic and the hot chicks in the corner!
I urge everyone to at least visit the site and download the software to give it your own evaluation. My prediction however is that you will see conversions equal to or better than you see at Party or Full-Tilt. And just for me introducing you to this new cash cow, I'll even let you sign up from my link. (Bummer there's no sub-affiliate program)
