Back to the Basics - Poker Affiliate Marketing Back to the Basics - Poker Affiliate Marketing

Back To The Basics - It's time to get back to the basics. I am formally announcing that I will be launching (2) new websites and promotions in the coming weeks.

Back To The Basics:

Often times people ask me what new and crazy promotions I have been up to lately.  In the last 6 months the answer has really been, not that much.  Of course I am always promoting and have my own things going on, but over the past 6 months my main focus has been working on Poker Affiliate World and monetizing this website.  It still amazes me that what started out as an Ebook website has grown to be the largest community in the world for poker affiliates to discuss the industry, network, and to strike new business deals.

I take great pride in what I have been able to accomplish and I want to continue growing this community.  I am always looking for new ideas to make this a better place.  As I have always said, this is OUR community. So feel free to email me if you ever have any ideas on ways to make PAW a better place.

With all that said though I am getting the itch to launch some new poker promotions. I am fortunate that on mgr% plans I have been earning commissions throughout the past few years even though my player sign-up numbers may have been reduced a bit from a month to month perspective.  I titled this article "Back To The Basics" because that is exactly what I am going to do.  Making a lot of money as a poker affiliate or even a general internet marketer is really not that hard if you can come up with new ideas and ways to drive traffic.  Unfortunately in the current landscape of internet marketing, launching a general information site on any topic is almost going to be a waste of time.

Another quote I suppose you have all heard me say forever is "Think Outside The Box".  When you see my new promotions/websites you will see that I have done just this.  I can't really come out and say what they are yet, but I will make them public in the next week or so.  I also believe in the principal of "Think Big".  If you're goal is to make an extra $1K per month on the internet, how are you ever going to make $10K or even $100K.  With my past history of crazy promotions I am sure you are all thinking that these sites are going to be some ridiculous viral marketing ploy, or me pimping myself on Ebay.  Well unfortunately they are not, these two sites are just well thought out ideas that I am confident have the potential to #1 send hundreds of players per month to online poker sites, and #2 make me thousands of dollars per month.

Like everyone in our community I am learning new things every day in this business.  Am I 100% confident that each one of these sites is going to be a smashing success? No, not really but even if just one of them is I am going to make a very nice amount of money.  Usually I keep most of my promotions private, however with these two I want to set an example to my peers on how it IS possible to start with nothing in terms of a website, and after launch see nothing explode into something very big.

I am not doing anything magical in terms of SEO or spending thousands of dollars on marketing.  I am simply combining several marketing principals into one.  I have two separate promotions launching that are each independent of the other and somewhere within one of the two you will see the following: Viral Marketing, Niche Marketing, Network Marketing, Paid Advertising, and of course outside the box thinking.

As soon as these new websites are up I will let you guys know.  Again I usually don't make my promotions like this public, but I want to set an example and show how it IS possible to make money on the internet and drive large amounts of traffic with a new site.

Very nice article Jeremy! That can be the hardest part; Coming up with that "unique" idea and you have done an outstanding job with that.

Yet another great read, your thinking outside the box strategy is excellent advice for any newcomer.

Viral marketing will always be big, its nice to see you still can get it done with new sites.. Smoke420.com being a prime example, I hear from Kyle that its driving some generous traffic considering its still in its infancy stages... well done and best wishes in the future.

Congratulations on your new sites!
Im sure they will be a great success, as are all your other sites. I for one cannot wait to browse through them and enjoy the poker factor and not the fact that its not a copy.
As a player i am even more excited... I have the chance to be the 1st to get in!!
Hurry up the suspence is killing me!

I'm giddy with anticipation :D

Jeremy, it is inspiring to see someone who has reached the level of success you have still keep his nose to the grindstone. No resting on the MGR base you've built up but always coming up with innovative ways to make money. Makes me want to go out and create more content right now, that if done well enough like Dave and Randy preach, will earn revenue for years to come.

look forward to seeing the promotions and good luck.
